Masonry Columns, Post, Landscape MasonryMasonry Patios, Pool Decks, Driveway Entrances

For centuries, natural stone and/or brick has been used to frame out driveway entrances. Often you will see a granite or stone cobble on the perimeter with gravel inside, or a brick perimeter with cobbles on the inside. Flagstone and cut stone in a random pattern is popular for pool deck surfaces, patios, and garden paths. Brick patios can include a variety of patterns to create interest: basket weave, running bond, and herringbone are just a few. We also do natural stone pool coping! GET AN ESTIMATE

Masonry Columns, Post, Landscape MasonryMasonry Columns & Posts

Brick and stone columns are a classic addition to patios, fences, entryways, and pergolas. They are also very durable, lasting for decades, and far more cost efficient compared to other fence and column materials. A single brick column is often seen as a mailbox. They are sometimes used as a footer, rising only halfway up a pergola's post height, before transitioning to wood or composite. Masonry posts and columns are often capped with a cast stone cap, a solid piece of natural stone, or with brick. Often, the cap has an angle to help keep water from pooling on the top. The edges of the post cap can be squared off, or some like an irregular, chiseled look. A masonry column can also be referred to as a pillar or pier. Frame a gate with two columns. Use masonry piers as corner and line posts with your ornamental iron or vinyl fence. A column topped with a light fixture can add style and security to your residence—gas or electric lighting will extend use after dark as well as cast a beautiful evening glow. Adding piers or columns can enhance your patio or garden wall. GET AN ESTIMATE
